Join us in March for a Thursday Late exploring William Nicholson’s connection to the theatre world.
Hear from Jane Pritchard, Curator of Dance, Theatre and Performance at the V&A, in a special talk about how William Nicholson’s creative imagination leapt from the canvas to the stage, and how his theatrical designs reflect the wider story of performance, art, and innovation in the period (tickets sold separately – BOOK HERE).
There will be a Library show and tell session, a curator’s tour of William Nicholson, drop-in life drawing with Wendy Barratt and a Studio drink and draw workshop.

Admission to the gallery and exhibitions is free if you purchase a ticket for a talk or studio workshop, otherwise admission is half price.

Thursday Late admission – £7.50
Entry to the Gallery and all drop-in activities (5–8.30pm).
Talk ticket – £18
Includes the 6–7pm Talk and free Thursday Late admission.
Drink & Draw workshop – £12.50
Includes the workshop and free Thursday Late admission.
Please note:
A Thursday Late ticket does not include the Talk or Drink & Draw workshop. These must be booked separately.
